Pickler born Kellie Dawn Pickler in June of 1986, experienced a difficult childhood. At the age of two, the mother of her child left her in order to escape an abusive marriage. In 1995 she returned to her world as Pickler and obtained the custody rights. This did not go as planned. At the age of 12, the court gave back Pickler to her parents - they raised her up to the age of adulthood. Pickler with the help of her parents and her older siblings, became too distracted studying. Pickler admitted that she was no longer able to learn and she began to understand how to be a homemaker as a child. Pickler was part of her middle school and high school's cheerleading team.
